Good morning, baseball fans!
Voting for the 2025 All Star Game begins today! Who will represent the San Francisco Giants at this year’s festivities? Well, that’s up to us.
If you want to do your part to make sure your favorite Giants players make it to the game, the should be live after 9:00 a.m. PT today.
How does it work? Well, for phase one, fans age 13 and older can cast five ballots per day (per individual, verified, email address). Phase one begins today and ends on June 26th and the ballot count will re-set each day at 9:00 p.m. PT.
This year, we here at McCovey Chronicles would like to put together a bit of a campaign for a few of the Giants players who could stand a decent shot at making the team.
The players we will be campaigning for are:
- Matt Chapman
- Jung Hoo Lee
- Heliot Ramos
- Wilmer Flores
You are, of course, not required to do anything you don’t want to do. But I have found that coordinated efforts for a smaller amount of players tends to have a bigger impact overall. So I thought we would try to work together to get as many of these Giants as we can into the game.
Which means I will be obnoxiously posting the link and an encouragement to vote with the morning BP posts until the voting period concludes.
