The EVZ has found its ideal player for the center position: Tomáš Tatar will join the Zug team from the New Jersey Devils for two years starting next season. The 34-year-old has spent the past 16 seasons in North America, 14 of them in the NHL. Tatar played a total of 927 regular season and 56 playoff games for the Detroit Red Wings, who secured the rights to the 179 cm tall, 78 kg forward in the second round of the 2009 NHL Draft, the Vegas Golden Knights, the Montréal Canadiens, the New Jersey Devils, the Colorado Avalanche and the Seattle Kraken, collecting 509 points (234 goals, 275 assists).
